Commercial and Sideliners
Simplify your operations while you stay ahead of Varroa
We interviewed commercial beekeepers and made an Oxalic Acid Extended Release Product that addressed their concerns. Our commercial formulation process gets a fast drop, goes in and comes out easily. Our design and application protocol reduces congestion in the broodnest and encourages contact by adult bees. Less trips to the hive, less impact on your bees, less planning for temperature and honey collection timing for early Varroa control.
Less restrictions, less interruptions, more bees, more honey.
Leave your supers on while controlling Varroa and feel good about it! Unlike Formic Treatments, It will not shut down or knock out your queen while your colony population is expanding during the honey flow and has no temperature restrictions to worry about. Our biopesticide product ingredients are exempt from USDA food tolerances. Mite Minder will not contaminate combs or honey like Amitraz, Thymol, Fluvalinate, or Coumaphos. Sleep easy and know that your employees and products are safer.

Yes! We just completed a 36 Colony study in three seperate apiaries with our new formula and pad design. It demonstrated that our product controls varroa with excellent results. We also used Machine Learning to count all the bees on all the frames on all the colonies to evaluate possible effects on colony population. There was no decrease in population compared to the control group.

Oxalic Acid has been used for over a decade in Europe and all over the world and no resistance has been noted. We still recommend rotating pesticides and can help design a plan to control varroa without sacrificing your time or honey!
